Arm Bands – Pin Dot by Albert Thurston. Popular during the latter half of the 19th century when ready-made shirts came in a single, extra long sleeve length. Wear armbands just above the elbow to secure your shirt sleeves to the desired length. Ideal for unaltered shirt sleeves that may be slightly too long or to keep your cuffs away from your wrists. One size fits all. 1″ wide elastic band with zinc fittings and leather. Made in the UK.

About Albert Thurston
Albert Thurston brought his handmade suspenders to the market in 1820 at his emporium on 27 Panton Street, Haymarket, London. His premier design featured tightly woven wool that formed the figure of an uppercase H across the wearer’s back. Thirty one years later, in 1851, the nation celebrated the Victorian era, when the Great Exhibition was held in Hyde Park. Albert Thurston received an Honorable Mention for the excellent standard of their products. Into the twentieth century, Thurston’s reputation for quality and style continued to grow. When asked for his reaction to the outbreak of war in 1939, actor Sir Ralph Richardson replied that he had gone straight to his tailor on Savile Row and purchased half a dozen pairs of Thurston braces in case they might be in short supply.
