Voyager Rollable Trilby
Voyager Rollable Trilby by Lock & Co Hatters. Handcrafted in England from wild hare fur. This classic unisex trilby is fully crushable. The neat, thin grosgrain band and bow complement the short brim perfectly, and will not crease once rolled. A complimentary canvas tube is included with the hat for easy transportation. Made in England.
TIP: We recommend you do not store the hat rolled up for longer than a day or roll the hat when damp as this can cause the brim to become misshapen.
HAT CARE: Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush will help remove dust and dirt. Brush the hat using short strokes, following the natural direction of the fiber. This hat should be kept away from direct heat. Wet hats should be dried using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Felt hats are best stored in a hatbox, away from direct sunlight.
About Lock & Co Hatters
The origins of Lock & Co stretch back hundreds of years on St. James Street in London. In 1676 Robert Davis opens a hat shop. A couple of years later in 1686 George Lock establishes a coffee house at No. 6 St. James Steet. Lock’s grandson, James Lock, is apprenticed to Davis’ son and marries the daughter of Robert Davis. The families, now joined by marriage move across the street and open what is now considered the world’s oldest hat shop at No. 6 St. James Place in 1765. In 1849 Lock & Co creates a custom hat for Edward Coke resulting in the iconic Coke hat. In 1908 Winston Churchill wears a silk top hat from Lock at his wedding and later returns for his trademark Cambridge and Homburg hats.
